Skills Spotter
A place to build your list before you turn it in. Nothing here is graded. When you're done, press Build, copy, and paste into the box on the assignment page.
Do your work here on the Canvas page. Your work saves to your GUI 47 account, so it is the same here, in a new tab, or on your phone.
Three parts of your life, and what you actually do in each
Keep it plain and real. "I close at a taco shop on Fridays." "I translate for my mom at her appointments." Then name at least two skills you're using there, in your own words. Nobody is checking whether they sound professional yet.
About the tags. Each skill has three small buttons: charges me, neutral, drains me. You'll tag every skill in Lecture 6.1, so you can leave them empty for now. If you already know, tag now and you're ahead.
Two quick answers
Being good at something and wanting to do it for forty years are two different things. This is the first place in the course you get to say so.Your list, ready to paste
It comes out labeled by area, with your skills and any tags, then your two answers. That's the order it's graded in.
Do this, in order: 1. Press Build my list. 2. Read it once. 3. Press Copy. 4. Paste into the Skills Spotting box under this tool in Canvas and press Submit. Then check Grades for a dash.
Before you copy

My work didn't carry over to another device
Your work saves to your GUI 47 account automatically. Export and Restore are still here if you want a backup copy of your own.
This tool saves your work to your GUI 47 account, where only you and Prof. Midgett can see it, and the discussion and lab tools later in the module can read it, but don't trust it with the only copy. Build your list and copy it out before you close the tab.
